We are moving right along with progress in the basement. We officially have the framing of the rooms completed. The room to the left is going to be a bedroom which will lead out into the main room and have a door to the bathroom. The middle room will be the bathroom and then the last room to the right is going to be a storage closet.
We want the shower in a different spot then where the pipes are, so the boys had to turn our nice smooth cement floor into a crumbled mess. And it only took them all day to complete this fun task! The drilling sound and dust even took over the upstairs towards the end of the day. Yikes!
What's left for this part of the project?
In the meantime the hubs is getting ready to start some electrical work this weekend. We went around yesterday and marked where we want outlets and light switches. I have to say it was all a little overwhelming! So many choices as to where and how you want to turn something on.
Once the electrical and plumbing are complete we need a visit from the inspector and the okay to keep working, then it's on to drywall. I make it sound so easy, don't I?
I'm kind of loving this project because besides putting up with the drilling and hammering sounds this project has only required me to walk around and give input where needed. I will be more help once we actually have walls.
I'm already brainstorming some fun ideas for the little one.

- moving around some plumping
- filling in the hole
